Our story

Finding good training should not be this hard

When one of us tried to book a CBT, the options were a confusing mix of out-of-date government lists, generic map pins and booking sites charging schools a hefty commission on every rider they sent. None of it told you what actually mattered: is this instructor qualified, what do they charge, and what do people who trained with them say?

So we built the thing we wanted. Clear DVSA certification badges, real learner reviews, proper local search, and a fair deal for instructors. No commission, no call centres — riders and the people who teach them, connected directly.

ThrottleReady is the motorcycle-training sister site to the directory model behind findmymartialart.com, rebuilt from the ground up for the way UK riders actually learn.

Instructors keep 100% of their fees. We charge a simple listing subscription and never take commission on the lessons you teach.

How we make money

Providers pay a flat fee to list. That is the whole model. Nothing a learner does costs them anything, no listing position is for sale in a way we do not disclose, and no enquiry is charged for.

What we check

Certifications shown with a tick have been verified by us against the provider’s certificate. The rest are self-declared and labelled as self-declared on every profile, in those words. We would rather tell you what we have not checked than imply we have checked everything.
